Marla Meltzer has worked in the creative world in a vast array of industries ranging from financial, market research, automotive, and fine art. Before opening her own design studio, Marla worked as Senior Graphic Designer for Quicken Loans and Rock Financial, one of the nation’s leading online mortgage lenders. Her design work was regularly featured in leading publications such as USA Today, Investor’s Business Daily, The New York Post, The Boston Herald, Chicago Sun Times, Crain’s Detroit Business, Hour Magazine, and the Detroit News and Free Press. As an integral part of the Quicken Loans’ marketing team, Marla provided creative direction to the entire corporation and its subsidiaries. In January of 2004, Marla left Quicken Loans to launch her own design firm.
Prior to her role as Senior Graphic Designer at Quicken Loans, Marla worked in the market research industry at Market Strategies International, a full service market research and consulting firm that provides strategic direction through its research expertise. As Graphic Designer, Marla provided creative direction and innovative marketing services to numerous and vastly different areas such as Consumer Products, Energy, Financial Services, Health Care, Information Technology, the Senior Citizen’s Market, and the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Marla has experience working with clients from various industries from automotive to fine art, and from investment banking to non–profit organizations. Marla holds a bachelor’s degree from the college of Arts and Letters from Michigan State University. She has won 2 prestigious national design awards from Graphic Design USA for her work. Marla has been a successful graphic designer and copywriter since 1999.
